Glock Recall History - One of the most revolutionary and innovative features of the Glock series of pistols is their signature slogan, "GLOCK Safe Action." This is based on the fact that, despite the lack of a manual external safety, there are three internal ones: a trigger safety, a firing pin safety and a sear safety. This paved the way for modern gun designs to place the responsibility of handling the weapon on the user rather than an arbitrary lever. There is also a tactical requirement to easily bring the gun into action. But was there even an experimental Glock with an external safety? During the first tests of the Austrian army in 1982, the army was not used to the fact that military weapons could be issued without an external fuse. So the military asked for a single-gun test pistol, and sure enough, Glock brought one to test them. It was concluded that it was not needed, but one of these pistols exists today at the National Armaments Center in Leeds, England. Officially known as the MO Sample Room, the author found this Glock external safety in one of the gun boxes. The gun has a newer magazine with an extended bottom plate, so the original cartridge probably won't fit.

Looking For Hidden Variants
This rifle is a straight pull Steyr M95 carbine that has been converted to semi-automatic by adding a gas piston under the barrel attached to the bolt frame and lengthening the stock. Glock has produced several different models over the years. in order to help police departments learn and practice the basic functions of rifles. The "T" models were the first versions built that allowed officers to fire non-lethal combat rounds using the same basic platform as the main weapon. The pair pictured is probably the rarest version of any training model. First released in 1996, they were marketed to law enforcement only from the very beginning and didn't catch on at first. The transition to Gen 3 was also only two years later, so a small number were produced. I think a lot of the ones that were made didn't survive the 20 years of police use since then.
I've only seen three of these sold on the open market before - all from a major distributor a few years ago. They were selling for just over $900 each if I remember correctly, but the seller didn't bother to list to maximize value. The collector's market is going pretty fast right now too, so I think one of these would sell for a lot more if put up today.
This pair was purchased directly from another dealer who had them listed on their website as "any old used Glock" and I was lucky enough to come across them. They have serial numbers 1121 and 1125, which indicates they were the first, but I couldn't find the transition point to Gen 3.
